Description

Beautiful French looking tin-glazed earthenware heart shaped box, decorated in a Renaissance style, with the heraldic motif of a fire breathing dragon surmounted by a royal crown. The background of the top and sides is a deep blue enamel. The box has a brass edge to the lid and rim which is hinged. The underside of the box is a drawn artist’s logo, the date 1902 and Ulysse Blois.

It measures approximately 6.4 cm long and 5.4 cm wide (measuring from the widest part). The depth is approximately 2cm. Some chips at the underside of the box, otherwise, the condition is good.
