Fabulous wee piece of NZ Hotel history, Midland Hotel, Wellington, coffee cup and saucer.

The Midland Hotel, est. 1915, was situated on the corner of Lambton Quay and Johston Street, Wellington. The first floor bar offered tea and coffee, in silver service with crisp linen napkins.

The cup and saucer are in great condition, just a couple of nibbles on the base rim of the cup.  The saucer has been a later replacement as you will see by the marks on the base. No cracks or crazing.
