Description

This large and heavy Antique Yemeni Hirz prayer cylinder  is made of silver.  A Hirz was a traditional silver amulet  made to contain a prayer or blessing to be worn as part of bridal dowry.  This prayer cylinder still contains the original text.

It measures approximately 15 cm long and 4 cm in diameter.  It has 3 bails and 1 on the cover. It weighs 160 grams (including the text inside). This prayer cylinder is still  in good condition.
