Description

Circa 1911, this  white china lustreware plate featuring printed colour transfer photographic studio portraits of King George V and Queen Mary to mark to their coronation on 22 June 1911.  This plate  has four beautiful  sections of cut work evenly placed around the rim. Printed in red ink at the side of each portrait is  ‘Langfier’.

It measures approximately 22.5 cm in diameter.  A bit of wear on gold lined around the portrait,  otherwise, it is in good condition.
