How unusual is this. The 9ct gold pin or brooch measures 5.5cm. The greenstone is etched with a fern leaf.

9ct is stamped on the top of the greenstone capping. The capping covers the top of the fern, so possibly the gold was added later ? I’m not sure. There is also a little gold pin missing on the front of the capping.
