Lovely Antique Sterling Silver Locket, Hallmarked Birmingham, England 1898

Sheild shaped with botanical detail engraved on the front.  Double framed inside for pictures, one side has a cracked glass.

Measuring 3cm in length including the top jump ring.  2cm wide at the widest point.   Side hinge closure, still snaps shut firmly.

The case is in great condition for its age, and the cracked glass could easily be removed or replaced.

A beautiful piece, that would look equally nice on its own on a chain or paired with a fob chain.
